1.Selvan. M. Thanushkumar of I year Diploma in Agriculture secured the second place in State-Level Online Quiz Competition of “Celebration of National Youth Day and 75th Anniversary of Indian Independence” conducted by RKMV Swami Vivekananda Cultural and Heritage Centre.
2. All the staff members of IARD attended the inaugural function of the Comprehensive historical exhibition of Indian freedom struggle at Swami Vivekananda Cultural and Heritage Centre on 15.08.2022. Staff and students visited the exhibition on 16.08.2022.
3.Selvan. M. Manoj, II year secured the First place in the “All Vidyalaya Swami Vivekananda Chicago Address Recitation Competition” held on 10.09.2022 in commemoration of the Universal Brotherhood Day.
4. II year Students visited Bio-control Laboratory, Insect Museum, Honeybee Park, Orchard and Community Radio of TNAU, ARS, Bhavanisagar and M/s. Rasi Seeds, Attur. They also visited AGMARK laboratory, Uzhavar Shandai, Regulated market, and Central Warehousing Corporation, Coimbatore as part of the course curriculum.
5. As part of Crop production course, first and second year students attended the cultivation of paddy, maize and sorghum in the Institute farm
6. I and II year students acquired skill oriented training in the establishment of lawn in the Agricultural Park in the Institute on 23rd, 24th and 25th August 2022.
