A Free veterinary camp was conducted on 03.12.2021 at Canara Bank Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) at Pudupudur Village of Periyanaickenpalayam Block. Staff and students participated in the programme
Dr. V.S. Raghavan, Deputy Director of Animal Husbandry, Coimbatore and a team of officials from Taminadu Govt. Veterinary Department participated in the programme and extended technical services. M/s. VIRBAC Animal Health Care Division, sponsored medicines for the camp.

A Farmers’ Seminar on “Cultivation of Coconut and Bengal gram” was jointly organized by SRMV IARD and State Department of Agriculture at Kuppuchipalayam village on 23.12.2021. Sri. S. Sugandaraj, Principal i/c and Sri. G. Dhakshinamoorthy, Lecturer delivered lectures on Crop Production and Plant Protection of Coconut and Bengal gram respectively. Around 50 farmers of Periyanaickenpalayam block participated in the seminar.
II year students visited Tholampalayam, Bujanganur and Velliangadu villages of Karamadai block on 17.05.2022 to conduct the extension survey with regard to the socio-economic status of farm families.
The Veterinary Camp was conducted on 12th March 2020, along with Tamil Nadu State Animal Husbandry Department, Coimbatore, at Ponnumaniyakarar Thottam, Pudupudur Village. Deworming – 176 cattle and 10 calves

Treatment for pet animals – 1 Dog
Total No. of Beneficiaries – 40KARAMADAI
