A Free veterinary camp was conducted on 03.12.2021 at Canara Bank Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) at Pudupudur Village of Periyanaickenpalayam Block. Staff and students participated in the programme.
Dr. V.S. Raghavan, Deputy Director of Animal Husbandry, Coimbatore and a team of officials from Taminadu Govt. Veterinary Department participated in the programme and extended technical services. M/s. VIRBAC Animal Health Care Division, sponsored medicines for the camp.
During the Veterinary camp, the following Animal Husbandry Services were provided,
- Artificial insemination – 19 Cows
- Pregnancy Diagnosis – 20 Cows
- Deworming – 65 Cows
- 142 (Sheep and Goats) 18 Calves
- Poultry Vaccination – 29 fowls
- Treatment for pet animals – 14 Dogs
